Community Center
The Calvary Vision Center was built to serve the needs of the community.
The Calvary Vision Center is an extension of Calvary Vision Church. Its sole purpose is to unify our community. The Center is the realization of the personal vision of Tim Haahs, pastor of Calvary Vision Church. He and his associates from Timothy Haahs & Associates, Inc. designed the Center themselves. The Center is designed to function as a multi-purpose space for hosting concerts, weekly meetings, conferences, formal parties, banquets, and even church services. Whether you need a classroom for a small group, the full auditorium for a presentation, or the Vision Café for catering, the Calvary Vision Center can accommodate your needs.

Our Center is decorated in a modern style, providing a feeling of comfort and purpose. Please read about each part of the center for more details.
Our auditorium is a flexible space. The design is attractive, and allows for a natural feel for a variety of events. Our comfortable, padded chairs interlock to form precise rows, but can easily be detached. All of our seating is movable. Organizations sometimes arrange conference tables for seminars, or use theater-style seating for a heavily attended event. There is a backstage area located stage-right for storing equipment and entering and exiting the stage.
The auditorium can host up to 250 people.
The auditorium is equipped with both a front and rear projector. The front projector is a ceiling-mounted 4100-lumen XGA-resolution LCD unit, and projects onto a 200-inch projection screen. We also have an optional rear-facing projector, whose image is viewable from the stage. This gives the speaker or performers a visual reference to the main screen without having to turn around, or guess what is being projected behind them. This projector is a ceiling-mounted 1500-lumen XGA DLP projector.
DVD and VHS video playback is available with seamless video mixing, and the facility is equipped for cable.
Our theatrical lighting system carries over 10,000-watts of power and includes PAR cans, lensed ellipsoidal spot lights, a fluorescent wall wash, and moving “intelligent” lights. Our entire lighting system is dimmable and programmable to make fades and switching “scenes” easy.
Our audio system is powered by five Crown CL contractor series amplifiers, and controlled with a professional sound board, effects, compression, Digital Signal Processing. We have 32 channels of audio input for live music performances or recording onto our hard disk recorder. We carry an array of wired or wireless microphones to suit almost every situation.
*The projected images and sound can be seen and heard in the Vision Café through our direct send from the auditorium, if desired.
Our Vision Café is a space for casual interaction. On one end is a sitting area with couches, and the hardwood main floor holds café tables and chairs.
The café seats 60 using smaller tables, and about 100 using larger tables. There is standing or “mingling” room for about 200.
Free wireless internet is available for use.
Kids have a place of their own at the Calvary Vision Center. Our playroom, Noah’s Ark, has all the features to keep kids of any age occupied and safe: a padded mat area, indoor jungle gym, craft tables and supplies, a collection of toys and games, a computer with internet access, a large TV.
